LIFE TECMINE PUBLISHES DIDACTIC UNITS ON MINING AND ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION
The didactic units for kindergarten, primary and ESO are now available.
These didactic units aim to bring students closer to the world of mining.
Aimed at the educational community, they are free to download for use in schools and can be followed both on paper and on digital devices.
Each unit develops content related to mining and the use of minerals in our daily lives as well as the impact generated on the mountains and how we can restore the affected areas. In addition, activities and worksheets adapted to different cycles and ages from kindergarten to ESO are proposed.
All the units have a notebook for the student and a guide for the teacher, so that the subject can be developed in the classroom with the programming that the teacher considers.
Students will discover the importance of this activity that provides the raw materials necessary for the manufacture of almost all the objects we use every day such as buildings, technology or renewable energy.
The Didactic Units developed correspond to the 3 cycles:
- Students between 3 and 7 years old (Infant and 1st -2nd of Primary).
- Pupils between 8 and 11 years old (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Primary)
- Students between 12 and 16 years old (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th ESO).
